Excellent soft leather. Mine has an antique finish. Fits and protects my small digital camera nicely, yet is not bulky, so it fits easily in a jacket pocket. There's a little pocket on the outside, where I keep an extra (flat rechargeable) battery. I love the quality of Ace leather goods. I own several pieces. They keep their good looks forever.
